Product Quality
|
|
At Key Packaging, we want our custom thermoforming to meet all of
your plastic packaging specifications. Beginning with a first piece inspection,
we will not run any product until quality personnel approves your packaging.
Experienced inspectors select a statistically sound sampling of product hourly,
fully inspecting and documenting the results in our modern SPC software.
Immediately we review data, making any necessary process adjustments, ensuring
all custom thermoforming product is within specifications. Key Packaging
releases no product until an experienced quality technician makes a final
review of all process data.

Design Quality
|
|
Custom thermoforming part quality begins with our rapid packaging
development process. Key Packaging strives to provide the best quality product
in the shortest timeframe at very competitive prices. To achieve these
seemingly disparate goals, representatives from all departments review each
design, incorporating their feedback into the final design. Package development
is done using three-dimensional models created in both Solid Works® and
Pro-Engineer®, and two-dimensional designs in Autocad®. This reduces CNC
programming time and eliminates programming errors, debugging designs on the
computer, not in manufacturing.
Our fully integrated manufacturing software ensures a timely review
of new package development designs, automatically notifying employees of new
projects, and reminding them of impending deadlines. We track each package
development project through every step, ensuring your satisfaction.

Service Quality
|
|
Customer service at Key Packaging is flexible, accurate, and
efficient. Custom thermoforming orders are entered upon receipt; each plastic
packaging PO is reviewed for proper revision level, price and delivery date(s).
Confirmations are automatically generated and faxed daily, ensuring timely
communication.
